It is another gloriously sunny day here. The sun is out, not a cloud to mar the sky, and there’s just enough breeze to make things comfortable.
I decided to take advantage of it on my lunch break and went for a walk around a small lake that is nearby. Oh how it made my heart happy.
I had my music playing in my ears, and my phone’s camera at the ready. So much fun to look for the beauty in this world. Between the sun and what I was listening to I could feel a smile creep across my face and it was all I could do NOT to sing outloud (my hubby would appreciate how hard that would be for me).
The water park was open and the children’s squeals and laughter were another form of music. A pure expression of joy unfettered and free.
Here are the songs that put a spring in my step (beware, my collection is a bit eclectic):Good Life – One Republic Homeless – Paul simon with Ladysmith Black Mambazo Need You Now – Plumb Keep The Fire Burning – Parachut Band First Time – Hawk Nelson Just Like somebody Else – Big Daddy Weave Tell Me a Story – Phillip Phillips You Can Still Be Free – Savage Garden Dont’ Stop Believin’ – Journey Don’t You Ever Forget About Me – Sleeping With Sirens
The images that captured my heart this afternoon are:
My friends, what is making you smile?
What’s in your ears today?
What are the images that you will take away from today?
Looking forward to your responses.Hugs & smooches, Cheley
